Anyone
familiar with the millennium film “Blackadder Back and Forth” will know that it had a way of
jumping around the centuries, and we do a fair bit of that during this walk,
from Angel to the New River and Canonbury.
Literary
and historic figures noted along the way include Tom Paine, John and Charles
Wesley, Charles Dickens, George Orwell, Joe Orton and Douglas Adams.
The walk itself takes about 90 minutes, with additional time
for questions, answers and debate over tea or coffee, or perhaps ale. Dates and
times are by mutual arrangement.
