Chris Rule, a long-time resident of Islington, has for many years been a member of the Management Committee of the Greater London Industrial Archaeology Society.  This interest in London's industrial heritage is reflected in his lecture which centres on two Islington companies which, for part of the twentieth century, were amongst the UKs largest manufacturers of tin toys.
