Changes to magazine publishing at The National Archives
Following a contractual review, 'Ancestors', The National Archives’ family history magazine, will be discontinued after its April issue.

The General Register Office will be changing its fees for registration services in England and Wales, from 6 April 2010, including new charges for people ordering birth, death and marriage certificates

Nationwide industrial action on Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 March
Due to nationwide industrial action by the Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS) on Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 March, The National Archives will offer a reduced service to the public on Tuesday 9 March. We advise visitors not to plan to visit us on 9 March.
